We enjoyed the Super Bowl in Bequia at Papa\’s Bar with lots of ex-pat locals.
A bit of fuel and stock up yesterday and this morning in preparation for the 7.5 mile
motor slog to St. Vincent. Now anchored in the Blue Lagoon. We\’ll slowly work up the leeside
over the next many days before heading off to St. Lucia.

COMMENT: Beach House – MOORED – Port Elizabeth, Admiralty Bay , Bequia – The Grenadines

We had a rolly night at Salt Whistle Cay. Way too crowded and more flies than I\’ve ever seen!
We left early, checked out Clifton Bay at Union Island 3 miles away. TOO crowded and looked kind of dumpy.
Reminded us a bit of Bartica in Guyana. SO…we motor sailed 26 miles back here to Bequia. So far…overall,
It\’s our favorite Grenadine!….Soon St. Vincent.

COMMENT: Beach House – ANCHORED – Salt Whistle Bay, Mayreax Island, The Grenadines

It was quite crowded at Tobago Cays and indeed is just as much so here. We tried two different moorings.
One was too close to another boat and one had 2 of the 3 strands of nylon worn through! Note to cruisers.
Check the mooring. We\’re anchored at the back of the pack. Quite the tour boat with music soon to fortunately depart!
We hear about a bbq on the beach tonight. This cove is quite small and shallow. About 30 boats here.

    Scott and Nikki

COMMENT: Beach House – MOORED – Baradal Island – Horseshoe Reef – Tobago Cays, The Grenadines

As the wind is predicted to lighten, we thought we\’d come out to the open wilds behind the \”Horseshoe Reef\”.
There is very little land cover and only the reef awash (much like places in the South Pacific) keeps the open ocean swell from
    getting to us!

There are about 40 boats moored here; quite tight. A bit bouncy, very pretty. We\’ll keep you posted.

A bit of a blustery day, but only a 2 hour trip from Bequia to Mustique.
The \”R&F\”…Rich and Famous are in the house. We cannot take cameras ashore or go outside of a 500 meter by 200 meter zone for
visitors. One of the hotels,\”Cotton House\” is shut to visitors as well. I\’m sure we\’ll hear the rumors of whose \”in the house\” at Basil\’s Bay Bar late this
afternoon! Mick Jagger and David Bowie have two of the 90 homes here. Moorings are free, park fee is 75.00 USD for boats under 70 feet for three days.
We have 19 sailboats and two \”Mega Yachts\” here as well.
